Magnificent Golf in the Caribbean

If you ever need a break from the beach, Provo Golf Club, the host of the 2009 Caribbean Amateur Golf Championship, is located just a few miles away from The Regent Grand. This Turks and Caicos Golf Club is also owned and managed by the HAB Group, which ensures that Regent Grand guests receive either free, or the best discounted golf rates available on Providenciales.

The Karl Litten designed course provides a challenge for all standards of golfer and the cooling trade winds and lush green fairways represent Provo's own relaxing  green oasis. The Club offers an 18-hole championship course with four different tees, a recently expanded clubhouse containing both a Pro-Shop and Fairways Bar & Restaurant, practice areas and floodlit tennis courts.

The lush, well-kept course is extremely popular with members, guests and vacationers who enjoy the magnificent blend of lush greens and fairways, with natural hazards in the shape of extensive lakes and rugged limestone outcroppings.

The course is reminiscent of a 'Desert Style' course, though the 12 acres of inland lakes and marshes are home to a colourful array of native birds, including numerous herons, ducks and the occasional flamingo.

Information on tee times and rates can be found with the concierge or by contacting the club direct. Carts are compulsory (included in the green fee) and the club also has Premium TaylorMade Burner Clubs available for rent, along with GPS Sky Caddies. The Pro-Shop also stocks premium clothing brands, including Nike and Polo Ralph Lauren, for those who wish to take home some Providenciales souvenirs. Non-golfers are extremely welcome!
