Family Vacations

The suites at The Regent Grand are perfect for family vacations. Consisting of two & three bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens and laundry facilities they make an ideal location to spend time together. Play board games, swim, snorkel, have dinner nights out and pajama parties in.

The full kitchen provides guests with the convenience of more meal options and the advantage of being able to cook and eat on your own shedule!  The kitchens also include a coffee maker, toaster, and cooking supplies such as pans, dishes and utensils, dishwasher, oven and microwave, which gives guests an alternative to the time and expense associated with restaurant dining.  (A kitchenette is provided in studio suites).

There are plenty of activities for families around Grace Bay and Providenciales, but here are a few that we suggest.

Fish For Your Dish: You and your family take a boat out, catch your very own fish, which the Captain will fillet for you to bring back to your suite and cook it fresh to eat as you watch the sun set over the horizon, alternatively take your catch to our executive chef, Paul Quinn who will cook it for you at The Vix!  This trip lasts about 4 hours and depending on the time of year will cost from about $850 per ½ day.

Half Day Snorkeling Trip:  Be picked up up on the beach or lobby, or take a short drive to our local marina and you and your family will sail to the reef, where you can snorkel and look for conch.  Then visit the famous half-moon beach or Delis Cay and search for shells and sand dollars.  Various trips are available, lasting for approximately 4 hours and cost from $89 per person.

Wake-boarding and Skiing:  What about an awesome wake boarding or ski-camp for your teen? We utilize the services of SURFside, who offer ocean-based camps for kids and teens and wake-board and water-ski clinics. 5 day wake/ski packages start from $430 per person.

Chef For a Night:  Let us organize a private chef in your suite to cook the meal of your choice!  Depending on choice of meal, prices start from $90per person (minimum of six people, subject to occupancy levels).

Explore Middle Caicos: Visit the biggest island, but one of the least developed in the Turks and Caicos islands. We would suggest a ferry to North, which is about 25 minutes away. A taxi/minivan will then provide a tour of the main sites of North and Middle, such as stunning Mujan Harbour, the bat caves and the co-op farms. Concierge will arrange a picnic, drinks and water for your day out. Prices for this trip for a family of four, will cost approximately $150 per person depending on the time of year.  Organized tours are also available starting from $249 per adult and $199 per child. 

The Beach Escape Family Portrait: Take advantage of the preferential rates that we have with on-island photographers - Brilliant! This is a great way to see a little more of the island. Start with a few photos at the resort, and then hop into a minibus to a secluded quiet beach, and get some great photo memories. This is lots of fun and light years away from a formal, studio based photo shoot. This trip lasts about two hours, and costs begin at $450.

On-Site Photos:  We also use the services of Attimi Photography, for great family portraits shot around the Regent Grand grounds or down on the beach.
